Woodbrook invloved in Back to Back for Blackrock College!

​Congratulations to Blackrock College on winning the Leinster Inter Schools Matchplay League on Monday 30 April for the second year in a row.

In the first semi-final at Killeen, Blackrock College took on Naas CBS followed by Avondale Community College, Wicklow against Scoil na mBraithre, Kilkenny.

Blackrock College and Avondale Community College progressed to the final, however, the very strong Blackrock College team comprising of a number of past and present Leinster Coaching Panellists beat Avondale Community College in the final by 10 holes to win the Pennant.

Woodbrook’s interest in this tournament has always been strong with many of our Juniors representing Blackrock over the years. This year was no different with Shane Bresnan flying the Woodbrook flag. James Cronin acted as Assistant Manager with the team and we also congratulate him on his invlovement!
