Rules:
- The Woodbrook Chip in Championship is for all members who fancy a crack at the ‘Best Chipper in Woodbrook’ title currently held by Conor Byrne. For the record he holed 21 chip in’s in 2015.
- The Championship will run from the 1st January 2016 to 31st December 2016
- A chip- in is a shot played from the side of the green within chipping distance of the green. Pitch shots from within 100 yards range or bunker shots may also be included due to their proximity to the green.
- Chip ins are allowable during any game of golf you play in Woodbrook or away from Woodbrook where there is a witness to the event.
- Chip ins in solo practice rounds are not allowable nor are hole in one’s. They are a different category.
- Chip ins on the practice greens are excluded.
- Putts holed from off the green are excluded!
- This championship is open to any member of any category in Woodbrook, male or female that chooses to enter this championship.
- The purpose for this championship is to have some fun and improve our short game generally.
- Entries can be made by contacting Kieran Murphy at 014951970 and advising the number of chip in’s you have to date. No Charge for entry.
- Chip-ins must be notified to Kieran Murphy by text to 0872569967 or by email to him at kieran@theinsurancedoctor.ie This is because he is getting older and may forget those notified to him in the environs of Woodbrook
