Senior Cup Update

Our Senior Cup Team played Round 3 of the Eamon D’Arcy Cup against Dun Laoghaire Golf Club in Powerscourt yesterday. Dun Laoghaire fielded a very strong side and had a convincing 4:1 victory.

Notwithstanding the defeat, the shot of the day came from James Cronin (3) who at one stage was 4 down through 5 holes.

Standing over his second shot on 18, where he was 1 up, James managed to hole a 6 iron from 170 yards to win 2 up. A truly memorable shot!!

A huge word of thanks goes to Team Managers, Dan Shanahan and Noel Murphy who have brought a number of our junior members into the Senior Cup Panel with a view to developing them for the future.

Next round of the tournament will be advised shortly.
