Preferred Lies (Sat 16th Sept 2017)

Having considered current course conditions, the short and medium range weather forecast and feedback from members, it has been decided that w.e.f. Saturday 16th September 2017 preferred lies will apply to all closely mown areas, i.e. a player may mark, lift, clean and place their ball within 6” and no nearer the hole on the fairway or any area of the course mowed at fairway height or less.
Where a players ball comes to rest in the rough, they must play the ball as it lies, i.e. a player may not, mark lift, clean and place their ball where their ball comes to rest in the rough.
