With effect from Tuesday 31 October the Course Committee has decided to introduce PLACING EVERYWHERE for all golf, both competition and social.

This means;

  • Where a players shot comes to rest on the fairway, the ball may be lifted leaned and placed within 6” but no nearer the hole.
  • Where a players shot comes to rest in the rough, the ball may be lifted, cleaned and placed in the rough, within 6” but no nearer the hole

To assist us in maintaining our course over the winter golfing period we would ask that you comply with the following;

  • Please take a sand bag with you to repair all divots
  • Please repair all pitch marks
  • Please rake bunkers towards the centre
  • On days where buggies are permitted, Members must travel in the rough. Buggies must not be driven on fairways.

We anticipate that we will most likely move off fairways in January but any change to this plan will be advised to you.
