Mens Club Notice

 

  • Through January and February Members are, where their ball comes to rest on the fairway, required to Lift and Place it in the rough on the side nearest to where the ball lies.

 

  •  From the 1st January to the first qualifying competition Winter Handicap cuts will be in operation. This will involve an effective 1 shot cut off one’s GUI handicap as of 1st January each time you win a prize subject to a cap of 3 effective shots over the timeframe. Please see notice board for details of weekly handicap cuts.

 

  •  CONGU have introduced revised handicap allowances for fourball competitions with effect from 1st January 2016. The new allowance is 90% of your GUI handicap and replaces the old allowance of ¾ of handicap. The new 12 Hole allowance is 60%. Please see handicap allowance table for details.
